The building is great with new facilities (gym, community room, laundry to name a few) and a great team that's always approachable and happy to help. Yes, at times there's noise or a problem with the rubbish, but any issues are being dealt with in a fast, professional manner. Sascha and his team not only take care of anything related with your apartment, but are just a bunch of friendly, extremely helpful people.

Think about a time that you got scammed and multiply this by three. This is the definition of ilive for me. They find a various ways to milk you in every aspect. Deposit? Hahah you get the fraction of it! Any broken things or cleaning? You gotta pay it yourself! They promote gym but gym is as tiny as it gets! They promote events but there is nothing in the event. Just some chips You pay around 9 euros for washing and drying They increase the price every year. So if you are really desperate to find a place I guess you can go. However, I would avoid this place in any cost!

⚠️ Alert to all current and prospective tenants, I moved out today and was initially charged €259.60 for cleaning. I believed the charge was unfair, so I declined to sign the move-out document until I received a clear explanation. The staff told me that no one had ever challenged this charge before and that previous tenants had simply paid it, sometimes even more. They also asked the pictures of the room when moving in. After discussing the matter with the staff, I was able to negotiate a reduction of €59.60, so I ultimately need to pay €200.00. Here is how the initial €259.60 was calculated. The cleaning fee is based on the number of cleaning hours at a rate of €64.40 per hour. In my case, the staff initially estimated 4 hours of cleaning. Why did I still have to pay €200.00? According to the staff, cleaning the sink drain alone takes 150 minutes (about 2.5 hours). They explained that, even after consulting their manager, they could not reduce the charge any further. What concerns me is that this hourly cleaning rate is not stated in the contract (see Clause 6.3 in the attached photo). For comparison, I paid a reasonable €50 cleaning fee at Appart’City in France. Since €64.40 per hour is a substantial rate, I believe it should be clearly disclosed in the contract from the beginning. Greater transparency would help tenants understand the potential costs before moving out. I encourage anyone moving in to take all pictures of everything and record video of the rooms and moving out to do the same and ask for a clear explanation of the cleaning charges. Importantly, instead of Neon Wood please check The Base. P.S. Based on my experience at Neon Wood Mitte-Wedding, I found that the staff became more cooperative after I firmly questioned the charge and requested clarification. I also experienced other interactions that I found unprofessional, although I hope these do not reflect everyone’s experience.

I've lived here from 2019 to 2023, and had generally declining experience with it. The current price for this kind of living quality is unacceptable. I even had an accident where small stones fell off the ceiling and destroyed my tablet. Though it was settled, this kind of accident should never happen. Note: the company behind this is now trying to remove reviews using the "defamation" claim.

I am currently a resident. Unfortunately, the issues are multiple. First and foremost, the NeonWood owes me money. I had literally to start a case against them and still in the process. If there is a problem, you will have to involve police, court of law and a couple of ministries to push that company. The second issue is how outdated everything is. They do not fix the building, half of things are broken. You think that the gym is included? It was closed down the half of duration of my stay. Noise levels at night can be high. Police comes every third weekend. Do yourself a favour- just rent elsewhere. __________________________ Ich bin derzeit ein Bewohner. Leider sind die Probleme vielfältig. Они не ремонтируют здание, половина вещей сломана. Как вы думаете, тренажерный зал включен в стоимость? Он был закрыт на половину срока моего пребывания. Ночью может быть очень шумно. Каждые третьи выходные приезжает полиция. Сделайте себе одолжение - арендуйте жилье в другом месте.
